Greetings from the Spaceman:

 

This, our third newlsetter, welcomes all to the world of the Hairyspaceman!

The Fall has been an important time for us to make some adjustments to the band, and
really consider our album, its importance and our commitment to convey what we
feel and know about the music.  



 
We would like to take some extra time for this newsletter to dig a bit into the band, who
we are, and why we do what we do. Interested? Read on good friends. Firstly, and with
much sincerity and respect, thanks for taking the time to let the music in. We spend a lot
of time making the group and music relevant to our feelings, expectations, and lives. It is
necessary to believe in the music to let it become part of our memories and experiences,
and without our friends and fans we could not.

On to the news, pulp, potatoes… We had
the opportunity to be a guest on NS Radio here it DeKalb. We enjoy doing this as it
gives us a persepective on the music that is not otherwise possible. We make it available
for you above to hear at your convenience. Just a heads up it runs just over 18 min. so
settle in with some popcorn, coffee, or beverage of choice. The interview was alot of
fun for us. Thanks Andy!

So why do we do this? an honest question, an open one. We play the music that is a
reflection of the narratives of our lives and experiences. Music connects us to the best
part of ourselves, and we enjoy sharing that with you. You will notice that we have not
booked  performances in the next few months. We are to the best of our efforts
getting and album delivered by the early spring. We know you will enjoy it as much as
we are creating it. Stay in touch however, as we typically cannot resist a gig.

BTW-we have a bunch of gmail invites we can give away. If you would like one just

the service, and certainly don't mind passing it on.
